Astaxanthin is a powerful carotenoid known for giving salmon their coral color.
A recent clinical study suggests astaxanthin helps maintain cognitive health and, more specifically, may support the function of short-term memory.*

Research has shown that astaxanthin’s powerful antioxidant properties can help protect skin against oxidative stress, which contributes to premature aging, promote evenness in skin tone, and help keep skin moisturized. In one study, participants who supplemented with astaxanthin over 6 weeks reported significant improvements in the appearance of fine lines, as well as more hydrated skin overall.*

Research has shown that astaxanthin’s antioxidant properties and inflammatory support can help strengthen our retinas against eye strain and fatigue, which is common after prolonged exposure to blue light from computer screens. In one placebo-controlled study, 46% of participants who supplemented with astaxanthin over 4 weeks reported an improvement in eye strain.*

During high-intensity exercise, our muscles produce chemical compounds called reactive oxygen species (ROS), which can contribute to muscle weakness and fatigue. Research has shown that astaxanthin’s antioxidant properties and inflammatory support can help reduce ROS levels during training, help prevent delayed onset muscle soreness, and help keep muscles and joints strong and protected.*

State-of-the-art facilities are used to produce our astaxanthin. We work with one of the few suppliers in the Natural Algae Astaxanthin Association, who set the standard for astaxanthin quality. After it is encapsulated into a softgel, our astaxanthin is tested for quality and purity.
Our supply chain allows us to source the purest natural astaxanthin available. It begins with algae phototropically grown in a closed system and fed by naturally purified Himalayan mountain water. Astaxanthin is then extracted from the algae to produce a highly concentrated astaxanthin oil.
